Are you ready to spend 5 days exploring the best of South East Queensland’s hiking opportunities? Then join us as we head out on various day trips to climb, hike, and tramp your way through our most photogenic landscapes.
Start the trip on our north side of Brisbane with a Noosa and Bribie Island trip, to explore the beaches of the Sunshine Coast, and take a walk through the sand. Make it to the top of Mt Ngungun, in the beautiful Glasshouse Mountain range, and you will see most of the Sunshine Coast laid out in front of you. Take the plunge into the picturesque Cedar Creek Falls, and see if you have the courage to try out the rope swing.
After you have sampled the delights of our northern side, take a trip south and see what the Gold Coast Hinterland has to offer. Begin at the Springbrook National Park and take your pick of the many walks and waterfalls on offer, testing your abilities to the outer limit, or enjoying a nice cruisy wander through the woods. Compare our northern and southern beaches with a trip to the top tourist destination of the Gold Coast, and see which beaches you prefer.
Day trip out to Lamington National Park, and see if you can find any lamingtons hidden under the trees. (If not, I am sure our wonderful expedition team can arrange some supplies). If you are feeling up to something a bit more adventurous, test yourself against the Treetops Challenge, and find out how high you can go!
